"RECYCLE"

Plastic waste is a recurring problem. Throughout France, we identify plastic waste deposits. According to the NGO report, no less than 399.81 m³ of waste was collected in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. There are 5 trillion plastic particles floating in our oceans.

At EDERRAK, every range starts with a material that has already lived a life:

• Plastic Serie: post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste, sourced from our partners' collections and destined for incineration or landfill. Caps picked up on the beaches of the southern Landes, bottles used to measure bathing water quality on the Basque coast, flower pots, offcuts from the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries…
• Wood Serie: Valchromat, a wood fiber panel made from recycled fibers sourced from FSC-certified forests, colored throughout the core.
• Cardboard Serie: recycled cardboard, shaped by our French partner, which is itself 100% recyclable.

 

"RETHINK"

Always in line with the values we hold dear: innovation, aesthetics, and the environment. Our research and development team is working on new concepts and the revaluation of new materials. The hanging rack is proof of this: a simple paracord and a recycled cardboard cradle are enough to make a board float. "REUSE"

We haven't just reinvented the rack: we have given value back to what no longer had any. Once identified and transformed by our partners, these materials become objects that are not only beautiful but useful. Always in keeping with a circular economy approach, our offcuts are collected to manufacture new products, and every rack remains recyclable at the end of its life.

Recycled materials have character: a Plastic Serie rack may show variations in color and texture. These irregularities are the mark of their history and do not detract from their technical qualities.
